- The Lake Owasso Association (LOA) was formed and incorporated in the 1940’s
- The LOA has an all-volunteer board consisting up to 11 board members.
- The board meets twice per year, with ad-hoc meetings as required, and an annual general meeting the last Thursday of April.
- The primary significant activity of the LOA since 1955 is the control of aquatic plants, and safety associated with lake users.
- The LOA board is made up of people with diverse interests and the board encourages all views to be expressed.
